Brazilians at the University
of Tsukuba

AEBUT (Association of Brazilian Students at the University of Tsukuba) was created in 2021 with the goal of representing and uniting Brazilian students at the University of Tsukuba.

To this end, we seek to promote the sharing of information that helps Brazilian students in their daily lives, and encourage participation in academic and cultural events.

Representatives 2023

Although AEBUT is open to any students and alumni interested in joining our group, we have a team behind the organization of events, social media (Tsukuba Life Guide and other information), contact with students and professors, first support to students facing daily difficulties, and more.

MISSION

The existence of a Brazilian student association within the University of Tsukuba aims to facilitate contact between Brazilians studying in this institution, considering that the incoming student does not yet have many contacts within the university.

Thus, our primary purpose is to value the unity of the group and offer support in the difficulties of interaction in Japan given the way of life and culture so distant from ours, in addition to sharing information that is useful for daily life and social integration.

Some of the objectives of this association are:

1. To represent Brazilian students and defend their interests;
2. To defend and promote the value of cooperation among the members of this association;
3. To promote and publicize Brazilian culture in Japan;
4. The sharing of information essential to the lives of students in Portuguese;
5. Encourage the active participation of Brazilian students in cultural and academic events inside and outside the university.
6. To be open to the families of its members and the community living in Japan regardless of nationality.

The support of a community that identifies itself as Brazilian results in a much more positive and enriching experience for current Brazilian students and new entrants.
